Hot- and Cool-Weather Crops for Florida
We have two main growing seasons here in Clearwater. The summer is good for those heat loving plants and the winter is ideal for the cool weather crops. It’s important to know which plants grow best in which season.

In-Between Crops
The in-between months are when you plant certain plants such as tomatoes, cucumbers, beans and peppers. This is the time when you plant seeds so as to have starter plants for the other two seasons, as well as continue to harvest crops from the other two.
